This dynamic panel brings together diverse perspectives from the world of commercial agreements. EisnerAmper Partner, Jim Agar, will moderate a conversation featuring actionable insights on the strengths and limitations of the arbitral process, the strategic role of mediation clauses, and the evolving landscape of ADR in commercial transactions. Panelists Wayne R. Wilson Jr. from EisnerAmper, Paul Di Pietro from the International Chamber of Commerce, and H. Glenn Tucker, Esq. from Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi will highlight real-world experiences and recommendations for structuring disputes to achieve fair, efficient, and enforceable outcomes.
The New Jersey International Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation Act, a groundbreaking statute, enabled GMXC Resolutions to develop and implement its hybrid arbitration-mediation-arbitration model for international commercial dispute resolution. Jennifer L. Brandt, Esq., GMXC Resolutions founding member, will moderate a panel discussion on this innovative, cost-effective process that is bound to accelerate global business, drive foreign investment, and position New Jersey as a premier hub for global trade and dispute resolution for any businesses facing an international commercial issue, whether they reside in New Jersey or not. This panel will feature Cognivia Chief Strategy Officer David S. Weiss, Esq., GMXC Resolutions founding member Laura A. Kaster, Esq., and Suzanne McSorley, Esq. from Stevens & Lee for an overview of the GMXC Resolutions dispute resolution process focusing on how the hybrid model helps parties manage risks, preserve relationships, and avoid costly litigation.
The event will conclude with remarks given by Richard Steen, Esq. on behalf of the Justice Marie L. Garibaldi American Inn of Court for Alternate Dispute Resolution. Mr. Steen is Past President of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
